Branded Installation
Working with Dogtooth means bringing your branded environment to life with care, precision and minimal disruption. Whether you’re an interior designer, architect, or brand agency, here’s how a typical wall graphics project runs—from first contact to final install.
1. Initial Brief & Quotation
Most projects begin with a phone call or email. To quote accurately, we need two things: a layout or visual of the design, and a spec sheet showing mural or sticker sizes. Site photos help too.
We’ll also discuss timing—specifically how we fit into the broader programme. As graphics go onto finished surfaces, we’re typically last in. We plan our schedule backwards from the final handover, allowing time for snagging and cleaning, then set production and survey dates accordingly.
2. Programme, RAMS & Survey
Once our quote is approved, we confirm programme dates and supply RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). A site survey is often included in our pricing, especially on larger projects.
Surveys are essential to catch real-world issues that plans can miss. They ensure correct measurements, check conditions, and reduce risk of errors at install.
3. Artwork & Production
Following the survey, we send updated sizes to your team—or make artwork amends, depending on agreement. Final artwork is sent via Dropbox or WeTransfer.
Print typically starts one to two weeks before installation, depending on project size. Murals are printed, laminated, trimmed, and packed for delivery.
4. Pre-Install Readiness
Two weeks before install, we’ll request a completed jobsheet with project address, site contacts, access hours, PPE needs, parking info and details about site inductions.
Most sites require health and safety briefings—some brief, others longer. We factor these into our schedule as needed.
Final checks happen the Friday before install: we review visuals, specs and pack materials. Everything’s ready for a clean start Monday morning.
5. On-Site Installation
On arrival, we sign in, attend inductions, and check access to the install areas. We set up a clean, central base for materials and tools, confirm our working zones, and liaise with site contacts.
Our team works efficiently and carefully—room by room or around other trades if the site is live. We’re used to working in both new-build and occupied spaces.
Once installed, we tidy up, remove waste, take reference photos, and walk the site with your contact. When signed off, we confirm completion with your design team.
This is usually the point where end-clients share their enthusiasm—which we’re always pleased to hear. While we’re not the designers, we’re proud to help bring your work to life in a meaningful way.
Our Five-Step Method
To keep things clear and efficient, every project follows the same structure:
1.Consultation – Discuss project scope, timeline, and intent
2.Programme & Costings – Quote and confirm scheduling
3.Site Survey – Verify on-site details before production
4.Production – Print, prep, and pack ahead of install
5.Installation – Clean, efficient delivery on-site
